Fun Piano Lessons for Young Children

Fun, nurturing piano lessons for children aged 4+, helping them grow in confidence and discover a love of music.

Making your child’s first experience of music a happy one

Learning to play the piano should be something your child looks forward to.

I offer fun and nurturing piano lessons for children aged 4 and over. Lessons are especially
suited to young beginners and introduce music in a playful, positive and age-appropriate way.

Young children learn best when they are actively involved. That’s why lessons can include
piano playing, songs, musical games, rhythm, movement and creative activities.

Children develop their musical skills while having fun and building confidence along the
way.

Learning Through Music & Play

Every child is different, so lessons are adapted to suit their age, interests and individual pace.

Through lessons, children can develop:

  • Early piano and keyboard skills
  • Rhythm and musical awareness
  • Listening and coordination
  • Concentration and memory
  • Creativity and confidence
  • A sense of achievement

There is no pressure to progress at a particular speed. Children are encouraged to explore,
make mistakes, try again and enjoy what they can achieve.

A Playful Approach to Piano

For young children, learning music is about much more than pressing the right keys.
Singing, listening, rhythm and movement help children hear and feel music, as well as play
it. Imaginative and visual activities can also make new musical ideas easier to understand.

My aim is to give children strong musical foundations while helping them develop a genuine
enjoyment and love of music.
