SEN Support and Childcare

Calm, nurturing SEN support and childcare, helping your child feel safe, comfortable and understood at home

Helping Children Feel Safe, Understood, and Supported

Every child is unique. I offer calm, nurturing and individualised SEN support and childcare in
your child’s own home.

Support is shaped around your child’s needs, strengths, personality and routines. My aim is to build a trusting relationship where your child feels safe, valued and able to be themselves.

Support in the Familiarity of Home

For some children, being in their own familiar environment can help them feel more relaxed and secure.

Depending on your child’s needs, our time together might include:

  • Learning through play
  • Communication and language activities
  • Creative and educational activities
  • Reading and early learning
  • Help with routines and everyday skills
  • Building confidence and independence
  • Supporting concentration and emotional regulation
  • Calm, nurturing play and one-to-one time

There is no fixed programme. Sessions are adapted to your child and what works best for
them.

Working Together With Parents & Professionals

Parents and carers know their child best. I work closely with families to understand your
child’s needs, routines and strengths.

Where appropriate, I am also happy to follow strategies or recommendations from your
child’s school, SENCO, Speech and Language Therapist or other professionals.

My role is not to replace a teacher, therapist or specialist. Instead, I provide caring support
that can complement the professional guidance your child already receives.

Supporting Your Family

Support can include reinforcing routines, helping with transitions, encouraging independence and practising everyday skills.

Regular and occasional childcare is available, including during school holidays. Parents are
welcome to leave their child in my care during sessions.
